Quotas define the maximum number of objects you can create or store within your EffiLink account. Unlike rate limits, which govern how quickly you can call the API, quotas are cumulative caps on the data and activity within your account. Quotas are enforced per active account and vary between trial and paid plans.

Campaign quotas

The number of email and SMS campaigns you can create is limited by your account type.

Media library storage

Assets uploaded to your EffiLink media library (images, attachments, etc.) count against your storage quota.

Automation workflow limits

The number of active automation workflows you can run simultaneously is capped per account.
Only active workflows count against this quota. Paused or archived workflows do not consume a slot, so you can deactivate unused automations to free up capacity.

Contact management limits

The following contact-related quotas apply equally to all account types, regardless of plan.

Send volume quotas

Send volume quotas cap the total number of messages you can dispatch. Paid accounts have on-demand volume, which scales with your plan and usage.
Trial accounts cannot send SMS messages. Upgrade to a paid plan to enable SMS sending.

What to do when you reach a quota

When a quota is reached, the API will reject new object creation until you free up capacity or upgrade your account. To free up capacity:
  • Delete unused campaigns — Remove draft or completed campaigns you no longer need.
  • Clear the media library — Delete images or files that are no longer referenced by active campaigns.
  • Deactivate idle workflows — Pause automations that are not currently in use to free up active workflow slots.
  • Remove stale contacts or groups — Delete contact groups that are no longer active to stay within the 300-list limit.
To increase your limits: Contact EffiLink Support or visit your account’s billing page to upgrade from a trial to a paid plan, or to discuss higher-tier limits for large-scale sending needs.
